Roles & responsibilities:

  • Rachel manages Barker Brettell’s five-person renewals team which, on average, processes 700 patent, trade mark and design renewals per month
  • On a day-to-day basis she liaises with the firm’s attorneys and external providers to ensure efficient and cost effective solutions for UK, European and global clients
  • Responsible for ensuring controls and measures are in place in the renewals team for compliance, streamlining processes and billing; auditing performance and devising processes to improve efficiency
