Alice is a Trade Mark Attorney with over six years of intellectual property experience. Alice has experience in all areas of trade mark work including both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Alice works with a wide range of clients, from startups and SMEs to large global corporates, across a variety of industries, from food and drink to engineering and many others in between.

Experience:

  • Industry placement year within the intellectual property team at an international conglomerate company
  • Assisting with an ongoing cease and desist programme successfully enforcing the rights of a globally recognised client
  • Successfully settling UK oppositions by negotiating agreements
  • Successfully overcoming inherent registrability objections with evidence of acquired distinctiveness
  • Responsible for the trade mark portfolio of two UK skincare brands, Heaven by Deborah Mitchell and Little Soap Company, including new filings, prosecution, portfolio management, gap analysis reports, contentious matters and renewals
