Attorney’s Exam Success
We are pleased to announce the recent success of Gurpreet Solanki who qualified as a Chartered UK and European Patent Attorney in July this year.
Gurpreet graduated from Cardiff University in 2001 with a degree in Genetics and then went on to obtain a PhD in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology at Exeter University.
She started her career in the patent profession in 2006, working in an industrial intellectual property department for two pharmaceutical companies before joining Barker Brettell in 2011.
Gurpreet’s expertise covers the full spectrum of patent work, from drafting to prosecution, as well as advising on IP strategy. She specialises in biotech and inhaled pharmaceuticals, working closely alongside universities and pharmaceutical companies.
